The bedroom is a person's private sanctuary, where he or she spends one-third of the total lifespan. A bedroom must, therefore, be well furnished to provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Unique bedroom furniture can give the bedroom a personal touch.

The layout and style of a bedroom reflects the personality of the owner. So bedroom furniture must be selected based on an individual's needs. For example, a teenager requires considerable space for storage of books, CDs, and other personal belongings. A child's bedroom, on the other hand, should be more colorful and secure. Hence, the furniture has to be chosen according to the age and needs of the occupants.

You’ll be ‘sleeping with the fishes’ in this honeymoon suite at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Islands Resort. This underwater tunnel of love may seem like an aqua wonder world to some, but others may be reminded of that chamber-crunching scene from Jaws.

This nest bed by Oge Architects is the perfect place to ‘lay’ your head for the night, or for ‘hatching’ new ideas, or lounging with your laptop and ‘Tweeting’, but remember the ‘early bird catches the worm!’ Ok, enough yolks.
